You have a strong background in CPU architecture and microarchitecture development, with experience in RTL design for low power mobile devices. Your expertise includes developing and refining RTL features to meet power, performance, area, and timing goals. You are proficient in programming languages such as Python and Perl, which you use for validation and test bench development. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions. You are detail-oriented and have a passion for creating high-performance microprocessors that power cutting-edge technology.
What you'll do
As a CPU Microarchitect/RTL Engineer at Apple, you will be responsible for the microarchitecture development and specification of next-generation CPUs. You will engage in high-level architectural exploration and conduct microarchitectural research to arrive at detailed specifications. Your role will involve RTL feature ownership, where you will develop, assess, and refine new RTL features to achieve specific power, performance, area, and timing goals.
