You have a strong background in CPU microarchitecture and RTL design, with experience in developing high-performance, low-power microprocessors. Your expertise includes micro-architecture development and specification, where you've contributed from early high-level architectural exploration to detailed specifications. You possess a solid understanding of RTL ownership, focusing on the development, assessment, and refinement of RTL designs to meet power, performance, area, and timing goals.

You are familiar with verification processes and have supported verification teams in test bench development, formal methods, and simulation/emulation for functional verification. Your experience includes working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure that the designs meet the required specifications and performance metrics. You are detail-oriented and have a passion for innovation, which drives you to contribute to groundbreaking products.

What you'll do

As a Senior CPU Microarchitect/RTL Engineer at Apple, you will own or participate in the micro-architecture development and specification process. This involves conducting high-level architectural explorations and performing micro-architectural research to arrive at detailed specifications. You will take charge of RTL ownership, focusing on the development and refinement of RTL designs to achieve optimal power, performance, area, and timing goals.

You will also support the verification team by developing test benches and utilizing formal methods and simulation/emulation techniques for functional verification. Your role will require you to collaborate closely with other engineers and stakeholders to ensure that the designs are robust and meet the high standards expected at Apple.
