Who you are

You have a strong background in CPU microarchitecture and RTL design, with at least 5 years of experience in the field. Your expertise includes developing and specifying micro-architecture, as well as refining RTL designs to meet power, performance, area, and timing goals. You are proficient in verification processes, supporting test bench development and functional verification through simulation and emulation.

You possess a deep understanding of the intricacies involved in CPU design and are comfortable working with cross-functional teams to drive innovative solutions. Your analytical skills allow you to assess complex systems and identify areas for improvement, ensuring that the final product meets the highest standards of quality and performance.

What you'll do

In this role, you will take ownership of the micro-architecture development process, guiding projects from high-level exploration to detailed specifications. You will collaborate closely with verification teams to ensure that all designs are thoroughly tested and validated, contributing to the overall success of Apple's cutting-edge products. Your responsibilities will also include refining RTL designs to achieve optimal performance metrics, as well as participating in architectural research to explore new possibilities for future microprocessors.
