You possess a deep understanding of RTL ownership, focusing on the development, assessment, and refinement of RTL designs to meet power, performance, area, and timing goals. Your verification skills are robust, supporting the verification team in test bench development, formal methods, and simulation/emulation for functional verification.

You are proficient in programming languages such as Python and Perl, which you have used to enhance your engineering processes. Your collaborative spirit allows you to work effectively with cross-functional teams, ensuring that architectural decisions align with product goals. What you'll do

In this role, you will own or participate in the micro-architecture development and specification for CPU execution units. You will engage in high-level architectural exploration and conduct micro-architectural research to arrive at detailed specifications that guide the design process. Your responsibilities will include the development and refinement of RTL designs, ensuring they meet stringent power, performance, area, and timing goals. You will also support the verification team by developing test benches and utilizing formal methods to ensure functional correctness through simulation and emulation.

You will collaborate closely with other engineers and teams to drive the architecture of CPU integer and floating-point execution units. Your role will involve analyzing performance metrics and making recommendations for improvements based on your findings.
