Job Description

Who you are

You have a strong background in silicon engineering, particularly in design verification for CPU architectures. Your experience includes working with ARM-based systems, and you understand the intricacies of power management and debug infrastructure. You thrive in cross-functional teams, collaborating with architecture and RTL designers to ensure robust CPU designs. You are detail-oriented and have a passion for delivering high-performance products that meet customer needs.

You possess a solid understanding of the entire product lifecycle, from pre-silicon test planning to post-silicon bring-up and debug. Your ability to bridge gaps between CPU and SoC teams makes you a valuable asset in any project. You are motivated by the challenge of working on cutting-edge technology and are eager to contribute to Apple's innovative products.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be at the center of a chip design effort, collaborating with various disciplines to ensure the successful delivery of functional products. You will focus on the auxiliary features of a high-performance ARM-based CPU, including power management, clock control, and special-purpose registers. Your responsibilities will include developing verification plans, executing tests, and analyzing results to ensure compliance with design specifications.

You will work closely with architecture and RTL designers to identify potential issues early in the design process, facilitating timely resolutions. Your role will also involve supporting post-silicon bring-up and debug efforts, ensuring that the final product meets Apple's high standards for quality and performance. You will contribute to the continuous improvement of verification methodologies and tools, helping to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.
