Desirable

Experience with temperature sensing, thermal design, or health sensor design is a plus, as is familiarity with statistics. An advanced degree, such as an MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field, would further enhance your candidacy. You are detail-oriented and possess strong analytical skills, allowing you to perform failure analysis, identify root causes, and propose corrective actions effectively.

What you'll do

In this role, you will develop and characterize prototypes for health sensors, focusing on temperature sensing applications. You will be responsible for writing scripts to analyze sensor data and reviewing vendor and factory data to ensure quality and performance. Defining specifications and authoring documentation will be key aspects of your responsibilities, as will performing failure analysis and providing clear technical updates to the broader team and management.

You will collaborate closely with research scientists and engineers, contributing your expertise to conceive, model, and prototype new sensor solutions. Your ability to communicate technical concepts clearly will be essential in keeping the team aligned and informed. You will also engage in user studies to gather feedback and insights that will guide the development of future health sensing technologies.
