Job Description
Who you are
You have a Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of relevant experience in wireless silicon development, particularly in designing CPU-based subsystems for high-performance, low-power wireless SoCs. Your familiarity with the ASIC design flow allows you to engage effectively in hardware/software/power partitioning discussions alongside software, firmware, and platform engineering teams. You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy working closely with SoC architects and IP developers to meet power, performance, and area goals for Apple devices.
You possess a strong understanding of RF/Analog architecture and design, Systems/PHY/MAC architecture and design, and VLSI/RTL design and integration. Your experience in emulation, design verification, test, and validation, as well as firmware/software engineering, equips you to contribute significantly to the design process. You are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and can handle challenges effectively, especially during critical project phases.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be part of a small team focused on designing CPU-based subsystems for wireless SoCs. You will collaborate with various functional areas to integrate industry-standard and custom hardware IPs into SoCs, ensuring they meet the stringent power and performance metrics expected from Apple products. Your contributions will have a critical impact on the ASIC design efforts, helping to launch leading-edge products that delight millions of customers.
You will engage in discussions about hardware/software/power partitioning, working closely with software, firmware, and platform engineering teams to ensure seamless integration and functionality. Your role will also involve validating designs through rigorous testing and verification processes, ensuring that the final products meet Apple's high standards for quality and performance.
