Job Description

Who you are

You have a Bachelor's degree and over 10 years of relevant experience in wireless silicon development, with a strong understanding of the ASIC design flow. Your expertise spans RF/Analog architecture and design, as well as VLSI/RTL design and integration, making you a key player in the development of cutting-edge wireless technologies.

You thrive in collaborative environments, engaging with SoC architects and IP developers to create high-performance, low-power wireless SoCs. Your ability to integrate industry-standard and custom hardware IPs into SoCs is complemented by your experience in hardware/software/power partitioning discussions with software, firmware, and platform engineering teams.

Your passion for innovation drives you to explore new technologies that enhance user experiences, and you are committed to delivering energy-efficient designs that meet the power, performance, and area goals for Apple devices. You are comfortable working in fast-paced environments and excel in crisis situations, demonstrating resilience and adaptability.

What you'll do

As a Senior Wireless SoC Design Engineer, you will be at the forefront of Apple's wireless silicon development efforts. You will collaborate with a world-class vertically integrated engineering team, contributing to all aspects of wireless silicon development. Your role will involve designing CPU-based subsystems that prioritize low power metrics while ensuring high performance.

You will engage in critical discussions with cross-functional teams, including SoC architects and IP developers, to ensure that the SoCs you design meet Apple's stringent requirements. Your contributions will have a significant impact on the launch of leading-edge products that delight millions of customers worldwide.

You will also be responsible for integrating various hardware IPs into the SoCs, ensuring seamless functionality and performance. Your expertise in VLSI and RTL design will be essential as you navigate the complexities of the design process, from initial concept through to validation and testing.
