Job Description
Who you are
You have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, with a minimum of 10 years of relevant industry experience. Your strong fixed-point knowledge and extensive experience with bit-true verifications make you a valuable asset to the team. You possess a deep understanding of DSP communication algorithms and the trade-offs between performance and complexity, which allows you to make informed design decisions. Your good knowledge of modern design techniques and energy-efficient logic design showcases your commitment to innovation and efficiency. You thrive in team environments and can maintain productivity under tight schedules, demonstrating excellent communication skills and self-motivation.
Desirable
A Master's or PhD in Electrical Engineering is preferred, along with a proven track record of bringing logic designs into mass production. Experience with FPGA and/or emulation platforms will set you apart, as will familiarity with front-end CAD tools.
What you'll do
In this highly visible role, you will be at the center of a silicon design group that has a critical impact on delivering functional products to hundreds of millions of customers quickly. You will develop signal processing intensive designs for wireless communication SoCs, focusing on diverse connectivity technologies. Your work will involve collaborating with a world-class vertically integrated engineering team that spans RF/Analog architecture and design, Systems/PHY/MAC architecture and design, and VLSI/RTL design and integration. You will also engage in design verification, test and validation, and firmware/software engineering, ensuring that all aspects of the wireless silicon development process are executed flawlessly.
