Who you are
You have a Master's or Bachelor's degree and at least 4 years of experience in DRAM development — your expertise in DRAM cell architectures and memory organization allows you to tackle complex challenges in low power design. You are familiar with DRAM simulation and have a solid understanding of memory interface verification, particularly with DDR-PHY and Memory Controllers.
Your experience includes working with various LPDDR IO standards, including DDR/DDR2/DDR3/DDR4/DDR5, which equips you to handle the characterization and qualification of these technologies. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with architecture teams and vendors to define requirements and ensure successful integration.
What you'll do
As a DRAM Design Validation Engineer at Apple, you will be responsible for ensuring that memory controller and PHY requirements are well defined and cover the scope of DRAM-based corner cases. You will collaborate with design, verification, and integration engineers to ensure that DRAM simulation meets Apple's stringent requirements. Your role will also involve debugging RMA materials with apparent DRAM-related defects, ensuring that both internal and external DRAM silicon and package level testing needs are met.
You will play a critical role in the integration of DRAM memories with SoC devices, contributing to the design and manufacture of next-generation, high-performance processors. Your work will directly impact the efficiency and performance of Apple products, enabling millions of users to enjoy seamless experiences with their devices.
