Job Description

Who you are

You have a PhD and at least 5 years of hands-on experience in motion sensor development, specifically with IMUs, magnetometers, or pressure sensors. Your extensive background in systems engineering allows you to translate top-level requirements into actionable guidance for module and system integration teams. You possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, enabling you to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

You thrive in a collaborative environment and are passionate about engineering excellence. Your experience includes a proven track record of invention and patent creation, demonstrating your ability to push the boundaries of technology. You are detail-oriented and understand the importance of rigorous analysis in developing high-quality hardware solutions.

What you'll do

As a Feature Architect, you will lead the development of motion sensing hardware that meets user needs. You will provide the quantitative link between hardware specifications and end-user feature requirements, ensuring that the products developed align with Apple's high standards. Your role will involve rigorous systems engineering analysis to derive accurate requirements for motion sensor modules, guiding the integration challenges across Apple's product portfolio.

You will work closely with module and system integration teams, providing them with the necessary guidance to ensure successful product development. Your contributions will directly impact the design and shipping of innovative products that leverage state-of-the-art sensing technologies.
