Who you are

You have a Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of relevant industry experience in wireless silicon development, with a strong understanding of DSP fundamentals and digital communications. Your proficiency in RTL design allows you to create efficient low-latency designs that prioritize power and area efficiency. You are familiar with the silicon bringup process and have experience in designing signal processing for wireless protocols.

You possess strong fixed-point knowledge and extensive experience with bit-true cycle-accurate verifications, which enables you to ensure high-quality designs. Your familiarity with UVM DV environments and AI-based efficiency improvement flows is a plus, as you strive to innovate in your work. You are a collaborative team player who enjoys working with algorithm and software teams to ensure optimal performance and power efficiency.

What you'll do

In this role, you will develop signal processing intensive designs for wireless communication SoCs, writing specifications and defining microarchitecture based on MATLAB/C system models. You will architect designs that are scalable and flexible, ensuring that they meet the high standards expected at Apple. Your responsibilities will include power and area efficient RTL logic design, as well as design verification support. You will run tools to ensure lint and CDC/RDC clean designs, and manage synthesis and timing constraints effectively.

You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including RF/Analog architecture, Systems/PHY/MAC architecture, and design verification teams, to drive the development of innovative wireless silicon solutions. Your work will directly impact the user experience at the product level, as you contribute to the development of highly energy-efficient designs that leverage new technologies. You will also participate in the silicon bringup process, ensuring that designs are implemented successfully in real-world applications.
