Job Description

Who you are

You have a strong background in hardware engineering, particularly in CPU processor verification, with experience in power management and clock control logic. You are skilled in developing and executing test plans, ensuring the functionality correctness of complex systems. Your expertise includes writing tests in Assembly and System Verilog, and you are comfortable working in simulation and emulation environments. You possess strong problem-solving skills, enabling you to root cause failures and propose effective solutions to design challenges. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with architecture and RTL design teams to deliver high-quality products.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be at the center of a chip design effort, collaborating with various teams to verify the functionality of power management and clock control logic. You will develop and execute comprehensive test plans and schedules, ensuring that all aspects of the design are thoroughly tested. Your responsibilities will include writing tests in Assembly, Scripts, and System Verilog, driving testing in both simulation and emulation environments. You will analyze test results, root cause failures, and work with the design team to propose potential solutions. Your contributions will have a critical impact on delivering functional products to millions of customers quickly, reinforcing Apple's commitment to innovation and excellence.
