Job Description
Who you are
You have a strong background in hardware and software development, particularly in building innovative RF transceivers. With at least 10 years of relevant experience, you have a deep understanding of embedded architectures using RISC/ARM processors, memory, fabric, and peripheral interfaces. Your expertise includes optimizing for low power and low latency applications, and you are skilled in analyzing and developing detailed models for RF transceiver control for both on-chip and off-chip components.
You are proficient in programming languages such as C, C++, MATLAB, and Python, which you use for system development, modeling, simulation, and automation scripting. Your hands-on experience spans the entire lifecycle of product development, from architecture stages to productization, and you thrive in collaborative environments where you can work closely with design, verification, and systems teams.
Your analytical skills allow you to tackle complex problems and develop innovative solutions that enhance user experiences. You are passionate about wireless systems technologies and are eager to contribute to cutting-edge projects that push the boundaries of what is possible in RF architecture.
Desirable
Experience with real-time control systems and transceiver calibration is a plus. Familiarity with power management techniques and mission mode operation will further enhance your ability to succeed in this role.
What you'll do
As a Senior RF SoC Architect at Apple, you will engage in the architecture stages of advanced transceiver systems, collaborating with various teams to design, implement, verify, validate, and bring up these systems. You will define hardware and firmware control systems for real-time control and calibration, ensuring that the wireless systems you develop deliver best-in-class user experiences.
You will work closely with design and verification teams to ensure that the architecture meets performance and compliance standards. Your role will involve hands-on development and testing, allowing you to directly influence the success of the projects you work on.
