Who you are
You have 2+ years of hands-on software engineering experience, or a Master's degree with relevant project experience. You are proficient in the Python ecosystem, including frameworks like FastAPI and libraries such as Pandas. You thrive in ambiguous environments and are passionate about building scalable infrastructure that supports AI initiatives. Your experience includes architecting and implementing APIs and SDKs that enhance developer experience. You are committed to upholding high engineering standards, focusing on code quality, automation, and testing rigor. You enjoy collaborating with researchers to operationalize complex workflows into intuitive platforms that democratize AI evaluation.
Desirable
Experience with high-availability services and internal tools is a plus. Familiarity with operationalizing sophisticated measurement techniques will help you excel in this role. A background in developing self-service evaluation systems will be beneficial as you work to transform complex evaluation metrics into simple, self-service calls.
What you'll do
In this role, you will join the engineering team responsible for building the next generation of AI evaluation systems at Apple. You will partner with researchers to operationalize their innovations, ensuring that the systems you build are reliable and scalable.
