You have a strong background in machine learning and computer vision, with experience in designing and implementing evaluation pipelines for complex algorithms. With a minimum of 5 years in the field, you have a proven track record of solving complex problems related to model performance and real-world constraints. Your experience includes using data science techniques to design experiments that expose vulnerabilities in models, and you are adept at investigating patterns of failure to improve overall system performance. You understand the importance of user impact and are committed to delivering robust and inclusive algorithms that enhance the user experience.
Desirable
Familiarity with various machine learning frameworks and tools is a plus, as is experience in conducting user studies and annotation pipelines. You are passionate about staying updated with the latest advancements in machine learning and computer vision, and you enjoy sharing your knowledge with your team.
What you'll do
In this role, you will lead the design and implementation of evaluation pipelines for Appleβs machine learning systems, focusing on algorithm validation. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop live test procedures and user studies that assess algorithm performance in real-world scenarios.
Your responsibilities will include conducting aggressor searches and designing experiments that reveal weaknesses in the models.
