Who you are

You have over 10 years of engineering experience, with at least 5 years in a managerial role, demonstrating your ability to lead teams effectively. Your educational background includes a Bachelor's degree or higher in Manufacturing or Mechanical Engineering, equipping you with the technical knowledge necessary for this role. You possess excellent written and oral communication skills, and while fluency in English is essential, knowledge of Mandarin is a bonus that enhances your ability to collaborate in a global environment.

Your proven track record includes developing scalable manufacturing processes for plastics and metals, particularly in the consumer electronics industry. You have hands-on experience in tool and fixture design, and any automation experience you bring will be a significant advantage. You thrive on solving complex problems and have a demonstrated ability to innovate in high-volume manufacturing processes.

What you'll do

In this highly visible role, you will lead a team responsible for taking Apple’s iPad products from concept to mass production. You will manage full life cycle New Product Introduction (NPI) programs, ensuring that your team is equipped to tackle seemingly impossible challenges. Your leadership will drive innovation in manufacturing processes, directly impacting the efficiency and quality of production.

You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including design and engineering, to ensure that manufacturing capabilities align with product specifications and market demands. Your role will involve overseeing the selection and implementation of high-volume manufacturing processes within a global supply chain, ensuring that Apple maintains its reputation for excellence in product quality.
