What you'll do

As a Manufacturing Design Engineer at Apple, you will be responsible for driving the development of key mechanical manufacturing processes for the iPhone. You will work closely with the Manufacturing Design Team, collaborating with Apple Industrial Design and Product Design partners to ensure that all design features are manufacturable and meet quality standards. Your role will involve defining best-in-class processes that align with Apple's operational requirements. You will document all parameters related to manufacturing processes, including equipment selection and process setup. Additionally, you will engage with worldwide suppliers to ensure that manufacturing capabilities are optimized and aligned with Apple's high standards. You will also be involved in continuous improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency and reduce costs in the manufacturing process.
