What you'll do

As a CPU Performance Architect, you will be responsible for driving advanced exploration in CPU architectures. You will collaborate with a team focused on improving branch prediction, code/data prefetchers, and novel prediction schemes to enhance latency and optimize CPU pipelines. Your role will involve analyzing single-threaded and multi-threaded workloads to identify performance bottlenecks and areas for improvement.

You will engage in modeling and feasibility assessments of new ideas, working closely with CPU designers to ensure that innovative concepts can be effectively implemented. Your contributions will play a vital role in maintaining and improving simulation accuracy, which is essential for the success of the CPU architecture and performance team. You will be expected to communicate your findings and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive impactful changes in CPU design.
