What you'll do

As a CPU Performance Architect, you will be part of a team dedicated to advancing CPU architectures for Apple's next-generation devices. Your primary focus will be on CPU micro-architecture, where you will explore innovative techniques in branch prediction, code/data prefetching, and optimization of CPU pipelines. You will analyze both single-threaded and multi-threaded workloads to identify areas for improvement and validate your findings through data collection and measurements. Collaboration is key in this role, as you will work closely with experienced CPU designers to assess the feasibility of new ideas and refine them for implementation. Your contributions will directly impact the performance and efficiency of Apple's products, ensuring they meet the high standards expected by users.
