Who you are

You have a B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Robotics, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a similar engineering degree, and you bring at least 3 years of relevant industry experience to the table. Your background includes implementing Control Systems in Embedded Microcontroller environments, showcasing your technical expertise in this area. You are proficient in coding languages such as C++, Python, and MATLAB, which are essential for the role. Your deep knowledge of System Identification algorithms, Estimation Theory, and both Classical and Modern Control Systems Theory sets you apart as a candidate. You possess strong interpersonal and verbal/written/presentational skills, enabling you to communicate complex ideas effectively.

What you'll do

In this role, you will contribute to the development of new thermal control algorithms, playing a crucial part in Apple's Platform Architecture group. You will be responsible for developing System Identification and learning techniques to model and simulate various power, performance, and thermal characteristics in Apple products. Your work will directly impact the efficiency and effectiveness of Apple's hardware offerings. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that your simulations align with product goals and performance metrics. Additionally, you will engage in continuous learning and application of advanced control systems theories to enhance product development processes. Your contributions will help shape the future of Apple's innovative products, ensuring they meet the high standards of performance and reliability that customers expect.
