Job Description
Who you are
You have experience in testing wireless technologies such as Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, focusing on functional, performance, or stability testing. Your background includes automation experience in programming languages like C, C++, or scripting skills in Python or shell. You possess a deep understanding of software quality assurance methodologies and practices, along with a good understanding of Wi-Fi and Bluetooth protocols. You are familiar with operating system concepts and have experience in developing test strategies and methodologies. Your ability to develop automated test cases is complemented by your problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
What you'll do
As a Wireless Stability Test Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the stability of Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and Thread software on Apple products. You will conduct stress and stability testing for these technologies across various Apple devices, including iPhones, iPads, Apple Watches, Apple TVs, and Mac product lines. Collaborating cross-functionally, you will craft wireless solutions that enhance the customer experience with Apple products and services. Your role will involve developing and executing test plans, identifying issues, and working closely with development teams to ensure timely patches and fixes. You will also contribute to the design and development of groundbreaking wireless connectivity technologies.
