Who you are

You have a bachelor's degree in a relevant field and at least 3 years of industry experience, ideally with a focus on SOC power optimization. Your familiarity with machine learning algorithms and programming allows you to explore innovative solutions for power efficiency. You are comfortable scripting in Python and have a solid understanding of ASIC power concepts.

You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with SOC power team members to automate power analysis and optimization tasks. Your analytical mindset helps you identify optimization opportunities through data analysis and the creation of power metrics. You are eager to explore new methodologies and drive automated approaches to enhance SOC power efficiency across various IPs.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for driving the automation of SOC power optimization processes. You will work with team members to automate power analysis tasks and explore machine learning approaches to optimize SOC power. Your responsibilities will include preparing training data for machine learning solutions and researching methods for power simulation, optimization, and modeling.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy power optimization automation, reviewing results and improving methodologies on efficiency and runtime. Your contributions will directly impact the design and performance of SOC products, ensuring they meet the high standards expected by Apple customers.
