Who you are

You have 5+ years of experience in machine learning infrastructure, with a strong background in building and maintaining scalable systems that support ML workflows. Your expertise in Python allows you to develop robust data pipelines and integrate various machine learning models into production environments. You are familiar with cloud services, particularly AWS, and understand how to leverage them for efficient ML operations.

You possess a deep understanding of containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes, enabling you to deploy and manage applications seamlessly. Your experience with data management and processing frameworks ensures that you can handle large datasets effectively, optimizing performance and reliability.

You are a collaborative team player who thrives in cross-functional environments, working closely with data scientists and software engineers to deliver high-quality solutions. Your problem-solving skills are complemented by your ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.

Desirable

Experience with additional cloud platforms or tools related to machine learning operations is a plus. Familiarity with CI/CD practices and tools will enhance your contributions to the team.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing the infrastructure that supports machine learning development for Siri. You will take ownership of the end-to-end ML lifecycle, from data ingestion and preprocessing to model deployment and monitoring. Your work will directly impact how users interact with Siri, ensuring a seamless and intelligent experience.

You will collaborate with data scientists to understand their requirements and translate them into scalable solutions. This includes optimizing existing workflows and developing new tools that enhance productivity and efficiency. You will also be involved in troubleshooting and resolving issues that arise in the ML pipeline, ensuring high availability and performance.

As part of the Data and Tooling team, you will contribute to the continuous improvement of our infrastructure, implementing best practices and innovative solutions that drive the team's success. You will participate in code reviews and provide mentorship to junior engineers, fostering a culture of learning and growth within the team.
