Who you are

You have at least 4 years of experience in machine learning systems, particularly with large language models, and a strong proficiency in Python. Your background includes hands-on experience in developing scalable tooling for training and simulation of ML models, and you are comfortable working in collaborative environments with engineers and scientists.

You possess a solid understanding of agent systems and are eager to push the boundaries of LLM reasoning capabilities. Your experience includes designing and running experiments in simulation, and you have a knack for integrating client-side components with backend systems to create production-ready environments.

What you'll do

As a Senior Machine Learning Engineer on the Siri Planner team, you will play a pivotal role in crafting the future of virtual assistants. Your responsibilities will include developing reliable and scalable tooling for training, simulation, and evaluation of large language models and agentic systems. You will collaborate closely with ML developers and client-side engineers to enhance LLM reasoning capabilities and ensure seamless integration into production.

You will also be involved in designing experiments that test the capabilities of the models you develop, contributing to the overall improvement of the Siri virtual assistant. Your work will directly impact how millions of users interact with their Apple devices, making it a highly rewarding role.
