Who you are

You have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field, with 6 to 8 years of hands-on engineering experience. Your expertise lies in developing applications using object-oriented programming languages such as Objective-C and Swift, and you have at least 4 years of experience in this area. You are proficient with frameworks like SwiftUI and UIKit/AppKit, and you have a keen ability to define and analyze software solutions, providing clear technical designs for them.

You possess strong architectural design skills, having collaborated with various teams and stakeholders to deliver large features. Your experience includes identifying technical risks and developing mitigation plans, as well as debugging and optimizing performance, particularly in areas like power management. You thrive in collaborative environments, enjoying the partnership and communication necessary to ensure seamless integration of Maps with upcoming hardware and software releases.

Desirable

Experience with additional frameworks or languages related to mobile development would be a plus. Familiarity with Apple's ecosystem and a passion for enhancing user experiences through innovative solutions will set you apart.

What you'll do

As a Senior iOS App Developer, you will assist in the development of frameworks and app features that support the entire Apple Maps ecosystem. You will collaborate closely with internal partners, ensuring that Maps works seamlessly with various applications such as Weather, Photos, and Siri. Your role will involve building new and exciting solutions that enhance the user experience, contributing to a wide range of Apple experiences.

You will be responsible for defining and analyzing software solutions, providing clear technical designs, and collaborating with other teams to ensure successful implementation. Your expertise in debugging and performance optimization will be crucial as you work on enhancing the Maps Experience.
