Who you are

You have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and at least 3 years of industry experience in modeling and simulation. Your proficiency in commercial MCAD, ECAD, and multiphysics FEA software sets you apart, allowing you to tackle complex design challenges effectively. You possess a strong background in electrostatics and dielectric materials, which is crucial for optimizing sensor performance. Your analytical skills enable you to predict sensor behavior and enhance user interaction response across various operating conditions.

You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with electrical engineers, mechanical designers, and material scientists. Your ability to translate modeling insights into manufacturable solutions is key to driving next-generation touch and force sensing capabilities. You are detail-oriented and committed to meeting stringent performance requirements, ensuring that the products you help develop are reliable and innovative.

Desirable

Experience with additional FEA modeling tools and conceptual frameworks would be a plus, as would familiarity with the latest advancements in sensor technologies. You are eager to learn and adapt to new challenges, contributing to a culture of innovation at Apple.

What you'll do

In this role, you will design and optimize touch and force sensors through comprehensive design analysis and modeling. You will leverage advanced simulation techniques to predict sensor behavior and ensure robust performance. Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, you will translate modeling insights into manufacturable sensor solutions, driving the development of cutting-edge sensing technologies.
