Who you are

You have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent industrial experience, and you possess deep knowledge of PCB layout, including signal and power integrity considerations. You are a dynamic and motivated individual who enjoys solving complex challenges and collaborating with design engineers to build sophisticated boards. Your understanding of printed circuit board design (PCB) allows you to contribute effectively to the Engineering PCB team at Apple.

You thrive in environments that demand bold timelines and are adept at providing competitive and accurate timeline estimates for project planning purposes. You are skilled in defining best practice layout methodologies and are comfortable delegating PCB layout efforts to other team members, including contractors when necessary. Your ability to assist fellow PCB Layout Engineers in resolving critical design problems showcases your collaborative spirit and technical expertise.

What you'll do

In this role, you will develop PCB layouts specifically for PMU IC silicon validation purposes. You will work closely with the Silicon Validation HW teams to understand board requirements, providing help and guidance during the schematic generation stage. Your expertise will enable you to propose design trade-offs for resolution and implementation where appropriate, ensuring that the final designs meet the necessary specifications.

You will be responsible for collaborating with your peers to define best practice layout methodologies, which will enhance the overall efficiency and quality of the PCB design process. Your contributions will directly impact the success of the projects you work on, as you assist in resolving critical design problems and help maintain the high standards expected at Apple.
