You are proficient in using Cadence tools such as OrCAD and Allegro, as well as Altium 365, which enables you to create high-quality PCB layouts. Your attention to detail ensures that comprehensive design documentation is prepared, including PCB layer stacks and trace width reports, which are crucial for the manufacturing process.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for the PCB design layout for both new and existing products, playing a critical role in the hardware engineering design team. You will develop detailed layouts that meet Amazon's design rules and ensure that all necessary requirements are accounted for. Your work will involve collaborating with other engineers to translate schematic designs into layout implementations, ensuring that all designs are optimized for production.

You will prepare comprehensive design documentation that includes PCB layer stacks and trace width reports, which are essential for the manufacturing process. Your collaboration with manufacturing teams will help ensure that layouts are optimized for production efficiency and product quality. You will also be involved in continuous improvement initiatives, contributing your insights and expertise to enhance the design process.
