You have 3+ years of experience as a Performance Engineer, demonstrating a proven track record of developing impactful technology. Your strong background in data and AI-related fields, such as software architecture or AI engineering, equips you to tackle complex performance challenges. You possess excellent problem-solving skills and effective communication abilities, which are crucial for collaborating cross-functionally with various teams.
Your expertise spans the entire technology stack, from SOC to platform and software, allowing you to understand and optimize performance across multiple layers. You are passionate about building and integrating technologies that enhance people's lives, and you thrive in environments that encourage innovation and collaboration.
Desirable
Experience with automation and infrastructure tools to evaluate performance metrics is a plus. Familiarity with cloud computing environments and a strong understanding of performance targets will set you apart in this role.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the performance of Private Cloud Compute running Apple Intelligence in the cloud. You will collaborate closely with architecture, platform design, SOC architects, and software teams to deliver exceptional end-to-end performance that delights customers. Your responsibilities will include defining product performance targets and developing automation tools to assess and enhance performance metrics.
You will engage in cross-functional collaboration, working with various teams to define the product and set its power and performance targets. Your role will also involve troubleshooting performance issues and implementing solutions that drive efficiency and effectiveness in Apple's services.
