Job Description
Who you are
You have a Bachelor's degree and at least 3 years of experience in system performance analysis, demonstrating a strong foundation in optimizing performance for complex applications. Your programming skills in C or Python are excellent, allowing you to develop and implement effective solutions for performance challenges. You possess strong analytical skills, enabling you to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks across software and hardware architectures effectively. Your communication skills are top-notch, allowing you to collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional teams, including AI/ML, Software, and Hardware.
Desirable
A Master's or PhD in computer science, machine learning, or a related field is preferred, showcasing your commitment to advancing your knowledge in this rapidly evolving area. Experience in performance or power architecture will give you an edge in this role, as you will be working on cutting-edge technology that impacts millions of users.
What you'll do
In this role, you will analyze and optimize end-to-end system performance of artificial intelligence applications across a wide range of Apple product platforms. You will identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, ensuring that the Apple Neural Engine operates at peak efficiency. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will design and implement performant solutions that enhance the user experience. You will conduct performance profiling, monitoring, and diagnostics, utilizing and developing specialized tools to ensure optimal performance. Engaging with QA teams, you will craft performance and power tests on AI workloads, contributing to the overall success of the Apple Neural Engine.
