Product Engineer • Senior

Who you are

You hold a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or have equivalent practical experience, and you bring at least 8 years of experience in manufacturing. Your background includes expertise in PCBA (Printed Circuit Board Assembly) and related system assembly, along with a strong understanding of design for manufacturability and serviceability. You have a Master's degree or PhD in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, Materials, or a related engineering field, which is preferred. With 10 years of experience at a company developing supply chains in manufacturing and testing, you have worked closely with Original Device Manufacturers (ODMs), contract manufacturers, and component suppliers for data center server accelerator products such as GPU, FPGA, or ASIC. You are skilled in driving root cause analysis, corrective actions, and continuous process improvements, and you have experience with bring-up or bench testing hardware in a lab environment.

As a Senior Product Engineer, you will be part of a team that pushes boundaries, developing custom silicon solutions that power the future of Google's direct-to-consumer products. You will provide on-site and remote support for pre-production builds, manage the bonepile, and drive yield bridge analysis to improve product quality. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve components and build quality excursions during New Product Introduction build phases, ensuring that the deployment of Machine Learning capacity in Google’s Fleet is seamless and efficient.
