Who you are

You have a BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering and possess project management experience that allows you to effectively lead cross-functional teams. Your background in electrical, computer, or mechanical engineering equips you with the technical skills necessary to recognize and assess project issues and risks. You are a proactive problem-solver who thrives in a collaborative environment, working with diverse personalities and ideas to drive innovation. Your flexibility and organizational skills enable you to manage complex schedules and budgets effectively.

Desirable

Experience in the consumer electronics industry is a plus, as is familiarity with hardware development processes. You are comfortable communicating technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring that everyone is aligned on project goals and timelines. Your ability to prioritize tasks and manage risks will be crucial in delivering high-quality hardware components on time.

What you'll do

As an iPhone Hardware Engineering Program Manager, you will lead multi-functional development teams focused on various hardware sub-systems, including flexible printed circuit boards and development boards. You will manage and track engineering development schedules and budgets, ensuring that projects stay on track and within scope. Your role will involve identifying and prioritizing project tasks and risks, driving deliveries, and coordinating with global suppliers to integrate their work into the project timeline. You will communicate project status and the big picture to both the project team and management, ensuring transparency and alignment throughout the development process.

You will uphold and contribute to Apple's product development process, playing a key role in delivering some of the world's most successful portable consumer products. Your ability to synchronize project activities with Apple's development process will be essential in maintaining high standards of quality and innovation.
