Who you are

You have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience, and possess strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills. Your automation experience includes high-level knowledge of modern scripting or compiled languages such as Python, Java, or Swift. You have the capacity to define, design, develop, and maintain test automation frameworks, and are familiar with Continuous Integration tools like Jenkins.

You thrive in a fast-paced, diverse team environment, collaborating effectively with software developers, QA engineers, and project managers. Your experience includes monitoring and analyzing test results, maintaining databases for test cases, and reporting on the quality of features. You are comfortable with both API testing and UI testing as needed, ensuring that applications meet high standards of quality.

What you'll do

In this role, you will lead automation efforts for the next generation of applications and services at Apple. You will design, implement, and maintain automation frameworks and tools used to test consumer apps and services. Your responsibilities will include close collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure that testing processes are efficient and effective. You will monitor and analyze test results, maintaining databases for test cases and reporting on the quality of features to stakeholders.

You will also be responsible for defining and implementing best practices for test automation, ensuring that the frameworks you develop are scalable and maintainable. Your role will involve continuous improvement of testing processes, identifying areas for enhancement, and implementing solutions that drive quality and efficiency. You will contribute to the overall success of the Applications team by ensuring that products meet the high standards expected by Apple customers.
