You have a solid background in automation testing and are familiar with tools such as Selenium and Python. You thrive in a team environment, working closely with software developers during all project phases to define features, quality plans, and test development. Your attention to detail and commitment to quality will help the SPEAR team exceed partner teams’ expectations for feature quality.

What you'll do

As a Software Automation QA Engineer in the SPEAR team, you will be responsible for qualifying a variety of SPEAR-developed features. You will coordinate with feature teams to embrace existing automation suites and develop comprehensive feature test plans to ensure that the features achieve their security goals without regressing functionality. You will also execute tests and analyze results to provide feedback to the development teams, ensuring that security features are robust and reliable.

You will gain experience testing software across a wide range of Apple’s software stack, contributing to the overall security hardening efforts. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure that security features are integrated seamlessly into the user experience. You will also participate in defining quality metrics and reporting on the effectiveness of testing strategies.
