Who you are

You have 7+ years of experience in Information Security, focusing on incident response and security engineering. Your deep understanding of threat modeling and operational threat intelligence allows you to assess and mitigate security risks effectively. You possess exceptional analytical and investigative skills, with hands-on experience in root cause analysis, which enables you to tackle complex security challenges. Your strong knowledge of system and network hardening practices ensures that you can implement robust security measures to protect sensitive data. You are familiar with common attack vectors and frameworks, allowing you to stay ahead of potential threats. Additionally, you have experience applying AI/ML techniques to analyze CVEs and prioritize emergency responses, showcasing your ability to leverage advanced technologies in security.

What you'll do

In this role, you will lead the Vulnerability Management function within the Apple Service Engineering Security team. You will be responsible for rapidly investigating and assessing security issues, ensuring that clear and proactive communication is maintained throughout the vulnerability management lifecycle. Your expertise will be central to the controls that protect Apple’s customers, data, and brand. You will collaborate with highly skilled security professionals who are passionate about identifying and mitigating security risks. You will have the opportunity to build security processes and technology that have a global impact, contributing to the overall security posture of Apple’s services. Your role will involve driving initiatives that enhance the security of systems and infrastructure that fuel services like iCloud, Apple Music, and Apple TV.
