Who you are
You have strong cross-functional leadership skills and the ability to communicate complex technical findings clearly to Chip Design, Firmware, and System Verification teams. Your expertise in Python for test automation and data analysis using libraries like NumPy and Pandas is well-established, and you focus on using AI-powered coding assistants to accelerate workflow and script generation. You have a proven track record in systematically debugging complex silicon issues and isolating root causes across hardware, firmware, or test setups. Your collaborative and proactive work style drives technical solutions across interdisciplinary teams, ensuring that you contribute effectively to the success of your projects.
Desirable
Experience with RF performance validation and familiarity with cellular transceivers would be advantageous. A background in automation workflows and a passion for innovative technologies will help you thrive in this role.
What you'll do
As a Senior RF PLL Silicon Validation Engineer, you will own the bring-up and characterization of frequency generation subsystems in market-leading transceivers. You will lead the validation of RF performance, ensuring that our silicon meets rigorous specifications. Collaborating with Design, Firmware, and System teams, you will drive the adoption of modern automation workflows to enable uncompromised connectivity in future Apple products. Your role will involve systematically debugging complex silicon issues, working closely with cross-functional teams to isolate root causes and implement effective solutions. You will also be responsible for mentoring junior engineers and contributing to the overall technical direction of the team.
