Who you are

You have hands-on experience with analog and mixed signal embedded circuits, demonstrating a strong understanding of high-speed SerDes architectures, including NRZ and PAM. Your in-depth knowledge of crucial SerDes blocks such as CTLE, DFE, FFE, CDR, and PLLs allows you to effectively characterize and debug these systems. You are proficient in using test and measurement equipment like high-speed oscilloscopes and BERTs, and you understand SerDes adaptation techniques thoroughly. Your experience analyzing SerDes signal integrity is complemented by your familiarity with high-speed protocols such as USB, PCIe, and DP.

You possess strong debugging and problem-solving skills, with a knack for data investigation and mining. Your ability to develop robust test methodologies to evaluate performance and calculate high-speed metrics sets you apart. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with multi-functional teams to launch innovative mobile SoCs that enhance user experiences.

What you'll do

In this role, you will lead efforts to bring up, validate, and characterize high-speed SerDes blocks, ensuring they meet performance standards. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to address challenges and drive the development of cutting-edge mobile technologies. Your responsibilities will include conducting lab characterization and validation of various embedded circuits, as well as developing and implementing test methodologies to evaluate performance metrics.

You will be involved in the debugging process, utilizing your expertise to identify and resolve issues that arise during validation. Your work will directly contribute to the successful launch of Apple's premier mobile SoCs, impacting millions of customers worldwide. You will also have the opportunity to mentor junior engineers, sharing your knowledge and fostering a culture of continuous learning within the team.
