Your passion for crafting great software drives you to create solutions that enhance the developer experience. You understand the importance of balancing trade-offs in platform design, and you are committed to promoting best practices within your team. You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy engaging with cross-functional teams to create the best platform possible.
Desirable
Experience with developer relations or a background in software development would be beneficial β you understand the developer's perspective and can advocate for their needs effectively. Familiarity with compliance regulations and best practices in software development is a plus, as is a history of working in large-scale software organizations.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be a key member of the team working across the software engineering organization to develop Appleβs software application platform. You will engage with various teams within the software organization and beyond to create the best platform possible. Throughout the software development cycle, you will partner with engineering teams as the voice of the platform, crafting a great developer story. You will evaluate developer requests and work with developer relations and engineering to design solutions that enhance the platform offerings. Your responsibilities will include promoting best practices for building a great platform and creating processes and training that scale our efforts. You will also be involved in facilitating sensitive conversations with stakeholders to ensure alignment and understanding of the platform's direction.
