Who you are
You have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience, and possess strong technical and communication skills. With a solid background in software engineering, you are self-driven and energetic, ready to tackle challenges in expanding health features for AirPods. Your experience includes working with embedded systems and wireless technologies, allowing you to contribute effectively to the team.
You have a deep understanding of the entire software stack, from firmware to application layer, and are comfortable designing and executing empirical studies. Your ability to forge collaborative relationships with multi-functional teams is key to prototyping ideas and making architectural decisions that enhance product functionality.
What you'll do
As a Senior Software Engineer on the AirPods Firmware team, you will implement new software and firmware to support prototyping, data collection, and feature development. You will work closely with QA to design and build testable software and internal tools as needed. Your responsibilities will include diagnosing, triaging, fixing, and preventing issues related to functionality, reliability, and performance of the AirPods platform.
You will have the opportunity to shape the health features of AirPods, enriching the experience for millions of Apple customers.
