Who you are

You have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, and possess a solid understanding of algorithm design and data structures. Your experience includes developing and optimizing embedded algorithms and APIs, with a focus on power, memory, and real-time performance. You are results-oriented and have a proven ability to effectively prioritize and deliver tasks on schedule. Excellent communication skills are essential, as you will collaborate closely with scientists, engineers, project managers, and designers throughout the product lifecycle.

You thrive in a multidisciplinary environment, uniting expertise in algorithms, software, hardware, and design. Your background may include software engineering, firmware development, machine learning, signal processing, and controls. You are proactive in seeking responsibility for complex systems and enjoy tackling deep technical challenges.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for building Apple’s next-generation sensor fusion technologies and interactive experiences. You will develop and optimize embedded algorithms and APIs, ensuring they meet the high standards of power efficiency and real-time performance. Collaborating with a diverse team, you will contribute to the design and delivery of intuitive customer experiences across various Apple products, including iPhone, Watch, AirPods, and Vision Pro.

You will engage in the entire product lifecycle, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the best possible customer experience. Your work will involve not only technical development but also contributing to the overall vision and strategy of the Motion & Interaction team. You will be expected to take ownership of your projects, driving them from concept to implementation while maintaining a focus on quality and performance.
