Who you are

You have 5 or more years of industry experience building scalable microservices or data-driven platforms — you've owned services from design through deployment and have a strong grasp of computer science fundamentals. Your prior experience with OOP programming, particularly in Java or C++, has equipped you with the skills to tackle complex engineering challenges. You are familiar with cloud paradigms such as AWS or GCP, and you have expertise in building backend distributed systems that can handle massive real-time demand with low latency.

Your understanding of micro-service design and high-scale performance tuning allows you to create optimized solutions that meet the needs of a growing platform. You are adept at creating solutions using public cloud technologies and APIs, ensuring that your work is both efficient and effective. What you'll do

As a Senior Software Engineer at Apple, you will be responsible for designing and building ad tech solutions that power ads and sponsorships across Apple Services. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that our technology integrates advertising thoughtfully into the user experience. Your role will involve developing scalable microservices that support our infrastructure, enabling us to deliver highly optimized advertising content to consumers.

You will work on distributed systems and large-scale data infrastructure, leveraging your expertise in Java and C++ to build robust solutions. Your responsibilities will include performance tuning and optimizing microservices to handle high traffic loads while maintaining low latency. You will also be involved in the integration of generative AI and LLMs into our systems, pushing the boundaries of what is possible in advertising technology.
