Who you are

You have strong programming skills in Swift and Objective-C — you can read, debug, and extend framework-level or API-level code with ease. Your hands-on experience with asynchronous programming and testing, including async/await, callbacks, concurrency, and dispatch queues, equips you to tackle complex challenges. Proven expertise in framework or non-UI automation is essential — you validate APIs, SDKs, or service integrations effectively. You possess a solid understanding of the Apple ecosystem, which allows you to navigate and contribute to foundational areas that power the Maps experience across Apple platforms. You thrive in a collaborative environment, believing that quality is everyone's responsibility, and you enjoy solving complex testing problems alongside a dedicated team.

Desirable

Experience with additional programming languages or frameworks would be a plus, as would familiarity with the latest trends in automation and testing methodologies. A background in quality engineering or a related field can enhance your candidacy, as well as any contributions to open-source projects or personal initiatives that showcase your skills.

What you'll do

As a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) at Apple Maps, you will play a key role in advancing the automation that ensures the accuracy and reliability of Apple Maps.
