Who you are

You have a Bachelor's Degree in an engineering-related field or equivalent experience, and you possess a strong engineering background with a history of delivering technical solutions. You have hands-on, recent coding experience, preferably in Swift and Objective-C, and you are familiar with SQL and NoSQL database technologies. Your analytical and problem-solving skills are excellent, and you can communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. You thrive in a multifunctional team environment and have the ability to drive projects from simple ideas to full implementations.

You are resourceful and can independently learn new technologies, demonstrating a creative, user-focused mentality. Your leadership skills enable you to guide teams on high-profile, critical projects, ensuring that solutions are not only effective but also innovative. You are organized and a clear communicator, capable of engaging closely with feature teams to maximize the potential of Apple’s cloud offerings.

What you'll do

As a Senior iCloud Solutions Engineer, you will join a team dedicated to bringing applications onto Apple’s iCloud services. You will engage closely with feature teams, providing both architectural and implementation guidance to leverage Apple’s cloud offerings effectively. Your role will involve designing, delivering, and supporting solutions using cloud services, ensuring that applications meet the high standards expected by Apple’s users.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive projects from conception to implementation, utilizing your strong programming skills to create scalable solutions. Your responsibilities will include mentoring junior engineers, leading code reviews, and ensuring that best practices are followed throughout the development process. You will also be involved in troubleshooting and optimizing existing applications, ensuring they perform efficiently at scale.
