You have a strong mix of education and practical experience in software design and development, particularly in system software for complex hardware systems. You possess deep knowledge in sophisticated software design, particularly in the context of system-on-chip (SoC) technologies. Your experience includes architecting, building, and maintaining system software that powers testing and automated test equipment (ATE). You are comfortable working with multi-disciplinary teams and can navigate the complexities involved in delivering outstanding SoC test platform solutions.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing system software that supports Apple's next-generation processors. You will work closely with hardware engineers to ensure seamless integration between software and hardware components. Your responsibilities will include architecting software solutions, maintaining existing systems, and troubleshooting complex issues that arise during the development process.
You will engage in multi-disciplinary efforts to design, develop, and maintain system-level test and ATE platform solutions. As the number of SoCs increases, you will help scale the team's capabilities to meet the growing demands of testing and validation. You will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that the software meets the high standards expected by Apple customers.
