Who you are
You have a strong background in wireless communication systems, with a deep understanding of IEEE 802.11 standards (a/b/g/n/ac/ax/be) — your expertise allows you to tackle complex challenges in wireless connectivity. With at least 10 years of relevant industry experience, you are well-versed in the intricacies of wireless technologies and their applications.
Your programming skills are robust, particularly in Python, Shell scripting, Perl, JavaScript, and C# — you emphasize test automation and data analysis, ensuring that systems perform optimally. You thrive in environments where innovation is key, and you are eager to push the boundaries of what is possible in wireless communication.
What you'll do
As a WiFi Connectivity Validation Engineer at Apple, you will be part of the Wireless Systems Design Validation Team, responsible for validating advanced wireless and PHY systems. Your work will directly impact the quality and reliability of next-generation wireless technologies, ensuring they meet stringent design specifications. You will collaborate with industry-leading engineers to address complex technical challenges that shape the future of wireless communication.
You will engage in hands-on testing and validation of WiFi integration efforts, contributing to the development of groundbreaking wireless connectivity solutions. Your role will involve analyzing performance metrics and ensuring that systems deliver optimal functionality across critical areas such as Throughput, RvR, MIMO, OFDMA, Beamforming, and Coexistence.
