Who you are

You have a Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science, Computer/Electrical Engineering, or a related field, and over 10 years of experience in wireless systems. Your proven track record includes leading cross-functional teams on technical initiatives and generating intellectual property. You possess strong knowledge of wireless and internet standards, particularly in 3GPP 5G-NR/5GC, 4G, and 3G, along with direct hands-on experience in major global standardization organizations such as 3GPP, GSMA, NGMN, and ETSI.

Your expertise in wireless technologies allows you to craft innovative solutions that impact future products and services. You are adept at managing teams and driving strategic interests in the evolution of wireless standards. Your collaborative spirit enables you to work effectively with diverse teams, ensuring that Apple's interests are represented in global discussions.

What you'll do

In this role, you will lead the Wireless Standards team, focusing on the 3GPP SA2/CT area. You will develop practical technical solutions and represent Apple in global standardization bodies, driving the company's strategic interests in 5G and 6G technologies. Your responsibilities will include managing the 3GPP SA2/CT delegation team and ensuring effective communication and collaboration across various departments.

You will be responsible for crafting the next generation of wireless technologies and standards, impacting Apple products daily. Your role will involve engaging with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions that align with Apple's vision and goals. You will also participate in discussions and negotiations within standardization organizations, advocating for Apple's interests and ensuring that the company's voice is heard in shaping future wireless standards.
