Job Description
Who you are
You have a Bachelor's degree and at least 3 years of experience in wireless system integration and characterization. Your background includes a strong understanding of communication theory and radio calibration algorithms, which you leverage to optimize performance and debug issues on silicon solutions. You are skilled in using test equipment to identify and resolve issues, and you possess software skills to configure and probe chips effectively.
You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy working on challenges that require innovative solutions. Your ability to engage with first silicon arrivals and manage the bringup, integration, tuning, and debugging of PHY and radio systems sets you apart. You are detail-oriented and committed to ensuring that Apple products exceed customer expectations.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be part of a dynamic team responsible for the integration and characterization of wireless SoC products. You will engage with the first silicon arrivals, bringing them up, integrating, tuning, and debugging the PHY and radio system operations. Your expertise will be crucial in executing PHY and radio level characterization, ensuring that the performance meets Apple's high standards.
You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to address challenges and implement solutions that enhance product performance. Your role will involve using your understanding of communication theory to optimize system performance and troubleshoot issues effectively. You will also be responsible for documenting your findings and contributing to the continuous improvement of processes and methodologies.
