Job Description
Who you are
You have a Bachelor's degree and at least 3 years of relevant industry experience in wireless systems integration. Your hands-on experience includes chip bringup and tuning wireless transmitter or receiver chains for optimal performance. You possess a basic understanding of communication theory, DSP, OFDM systems, and radio architectures, along with the impact of radio impairments on performance.
You are proficient in designing novel calibration algorithms for wireless systems and have experience with Python, MATLAB, and C/C++. Your strong analytical skills enable you to debug complex issues effectively, and you have a good understanding of signal processing algorithms such as timing recovery and automatic gain control.
What you'll do
As a Wireless Systems Integration Engineer at Apple, you will be part of a silicon design group responsible for the system integration of state-of-the-art wireless SoC products. You will design radio calibration algorithms and oversee chip bringup from conception to production. Your role will involve characterizing wireless systems and ensuring optimal performance through rigorous testing and tuning.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to address challenges in wireless communication and contribute to the development of innovative solutions that enhance user experiences. Your expertise will be crucial in debugging issues and refining algorithms to meet Apple's high standards for product quality.
