Job Description
Who you are
You have a strong background in wireless communication systems, particularly with WiFi, and ideally some experience with cellular technologies. With a minimum of 10 years in the industry, you possess a deep understanding of key performance indicators and signal impairments in RF and baseband domains. Your programming skills in Python, Shell scripting, and C/C++ enable you to automate tests and analyze data effectively. An advanced degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering is preferred, showcasing your commitment to the field.
You thrive on tackling complex technical challenges and enjoy working collaboratively with talented engineers. Your passion for pushing the limits of wireless connectivity drives you to ensure that nothing stands in the way of customers' connections with their devices. You are detail-oriented and have a strong analytical mindset, which helps you identify and resolve issues in wireless systems validation.
What you'll do
As a Wireless Systems Validation Engineer, you will be responsible for validating cutting-edge wireless and PHY systems against rigorous performance standards. You will work at the intersection of silicon development and system deployment, ensuring that the wireless technologies meet the high expectations set by Apple. Your role will involve testing critical parameters such as Power Accuracy, Spurs, EVM, Sensitivity, Desense, RF/Baseband Performance, MIMO, and Coexistence.
You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to address complex technical challenges and contribute to the development of groundbreaking wireless connectivity solutions. Your expertise will guide the validation process, ensuring that the systems you work on are reliable and perform optimally in real-world scenarios. You will also be involved in automating tests and analyzing data to provide insights that drive improvements in wireless system performance.
